Your ink cartridge model is normally printed on your current ink cartridge or your instruction manual when you bought your printer. Compatible and Remanufactured.
There are massive savings to be made from our Compatible and Remanufactured cartridges. The only difference you will notice in compatible and remanufactured will be the price; with great savings over the cost of originals.

What does OEM mean?

OEM is an abbreviation for Original Equipment Manufacturer and refers to the company which manufactured the printer, photocopier or fax machine, such as Canon, HP, Sharp, Lexmark, Brother, Epson, etc. These manufacturers also supply replacement ink or toner cartridges and normally will put their name on these products, though their cartridges may in fact be manufactured by a sub-contractor.

Will the print life be as long as that of the OEM’s?

Yes and in some cases the print life of the cartridge can be in excess of that of the OEM's.

What are Compatible Cartridges?

Compatible Cartridges are specially manufactured to meet or exceed OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) specifications and high standards of quality and reliability. Designed to be 100% compatible and interchangeable with OEM cartridges, and containing only new components, they afford big savings over brand-name OEM Cartridges and supplies.

What are Remanufactured Cartridges?
Remanufactured Cartridges are OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) cartridges, which have been reprocessed to meet or exceed the Original Equipment Manufacturers` specifications. The Remanufacturing process involves disassembling, inspecting, cleaning, replacing parts, reassembling, and filling with toner or ink. The Cartridges are then print tested, sealed, and packaged for resale. Our Remanufactured Cartridges will perform in the same manner and to at least the same standard as the original cartridge.

What is an Ink Refill Kit?

This is a kit containing the parts (ink, syringe, clips and instructions) necessary to refill your depleted cartridge with new ink. This is normally the lowest cost way to extend your cartridge life.

Will using Compatible or Remanufactured cartridges, or Ink Refills void my warranty?

The Australian Consumers' Association Choice Magazine has undertaken a survey into the use of compatible cartridges and spoke to Epson, Hewlett-Packard, Canon and Lexmark. They were informed by all companies that the 'printer warranty would NOT be affected by the use of compatibles or refilled cartridges'. In fact in
Australia it is illegal under the Trade Practices Act for a printer manufacturer to require a consumer to use a particular brand of ink or cartridge. The brand of cartridge, ink or paper you purchase is your decision.

Can using compatible cartridges damage my printer?

No, by using our cartridges you are assuring that your printer is using one of the highest quality print cartridges available. All our cartridges are tested to the highest degree and only the very highest quality of inks are used in our production process
.

Will the quality of print be equivalent to an original cartridge?

Yes, because only the highest quality inks are used in the manufacturing process.

What is the shelf life of a compatible cartridge?

All our compatible cartridges have a minimum shelf life of years when the vacuum bag has remained intact. All cartridges are dispatched using a stock rotation system ensuring that your cartridge reaches you almost as soon as it has been manufactured. Our remanufactured cartridges have a shelf life of around 12 months.

My printer loads several sheets of paper at a time

Only load the recommended amount of paper and always make sure that you fan the paper before putting it into the tray. On Epson printers please make sure that the paper thickness lever on the right of the machine is set correctly.

I have installed the ink cartridges but when I print, the pages come out blank?!

Have you removed the tear off strip from the top of the cartridge? If yes please perform 2 to 3 cleaning cycles and then do a print test pattern.

I do not seem to be getting as many prints from my cartridge as the brochure recommends?!

Most manufactures quote a page yield based on printing at 360 dpi and printing at 5% coverage (an a4 sheet full of test) if you print any graphics or print at a higher dpi then this will be reduced.

My print has faint white lines going through it?

Most print heads have a series of tiny holes through which ink has to pass. Should any of these become blocked you will experience these faint white lines through you printout. A few cleaning cycles should clear the problem.

When I installed my cartridges into my Epson machine it was taking a long time to initialize so I turned off the printer. I now only get blank prints.

When you install any new cartridge you must allow the printer to initialize. This allows ink to pass into the print head. Try carrying out a number of cleaning cycles.
